What is Children's Miracle Network?

Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals. Countless individuals, organizations and media partners unite with Children’s Miracle Network hospitals to help sick and injured kids in local communities. Donations to CMN create miracles by funding medical care, research and education that saves and improves the lives of 17 million children each year. With more than 8,400 admissions in 2009, Shands Children’s Hospital was one of the leading referral centers in the state, treating kids from across Florida, the United States and beyond. The funds raised in events such as Dance Marathon at VSU go to help children in your community treated at Shands by purchasing life-saving medical equipment and diversionary items, by funding pediatric research and by producing patient-education materials.
